The solution was a simple matter of replacing some of the colors on the Cube with non-standard hues. I don't know what makes a guy wake up one morning and decide, "I'm going to build a Rubik's Cube-solving robot out of Lego today," but there's no denying that the results are awfully damned cool. The next time someone says to you the words "simple website" or "simple change", hand them two Rubik's Cubes that have been thoroughly discombobulated and tell them to change one of them to match the other. I learned that the pattern does not work when corners match up the way they should. As well, different are algorithm, permutation, probability and tricks . It took me hours, literally, to figure out a valid solution extending the original pattern to all six sides. It was a great exercise for me. Posted by Swati Shobha Sevlani.
